Tips

• Leave a small buffer under Instagram's 2,200-character caption limit — captions get cut off with a “more” link well before that anyway.
• For a bio, aim well under the 150-character Instagram limit — the shortest version of your pitch usually reads better than the longest one that fits.
• If a platform truncates in feed after 2–3 lines regardless of the hard limit, put your strongest line first.
